What we are looking for:

• Previous business ownership experience (at least 5 years). You may have owned a restaurant, an accounting or finance practice, run a construction company, a retail store, owned a gym or health business or any other small business across a range of industries. The type of business doesn’t matter, it’s the experience we are looking for. 
• You must be detail oriented, interested in small business, patient, empathetic, able to work with a range of personalities and have a broad current knowledge of business and the economy.
• Strong Excel and Word skills are a must, as is an ability to create a succinct, well-formed document.
• Previous consulting experience is not required.

This role will suit someone who likes to work independently, from your home or own office. You can work around family life or business hours, it's a low-stress lifestyle role that would be ideal for someone with school aged kids or an additional income stream for someone who currently runs their own business. Every project is different, you get hear interesting business ideas and meet different personalities.
